Have you ever missed someone, but then somehow wondered if it was all right to?

- Pathological obsession with one idea or subject.
- Intent concentration on or exaggerated enthusiasm for a single subject or idea.
There’s this student in the module that I’m tutoring who’s way ahead of the rest. He is clearly knowledgeable and able to learn and understand things quickly.
However he’s been expressing that he doesn’t like the things taught and wants to stick to the things he knows and all that. It’s evident that either he does not understand the nature and objective of the course or is not open to new things.
Kinda like the frog in the well, only seeing the world from a narrow view.
From experience, there’s no point talking or arguing with this kind of people. It just fuels them.
They’ll just have to see the real world for themselves. Then it’s either die or adapt.
