“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”
- King James Version

“The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.”
- New International Version

“The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results.”
- New Living Translation

effectual - Producing or sufficient to produce a desired effect; fully adequate.
fervent - Having or showing great emotion or zeal; ardent.
availeth - To be of use or advantage to; help

This is why I so like the King James Translation.
