Coffee of the Day - Legendee
Growing Region: Unmentioned. Blend of Arabica, Robusta and Chari
Aroma: Earthy fragance
Body: Full
Acidity: Low
Taste: Rich, muddy and rough
Found some Vietnam beans at home, given by my aunt. The legend behind this blend is that male foxes liked to enter the coffee gardens and eat the ripest grains, which gets penetrated by the digestive enzymes in their bodies. The owners will then pick up the discarded grains process a kind of coffee with the best quality.
Of course these beans are exactly made with foxes but are treated with the equivalent enzymes. Coffee was very strong with a soiled taste, quite unlike most common blends. Good to find some excellent coffee which I can make at home. I just love my french press.
btw, Nguyen is pronounced as like “weng” and not “noo-wyen”. Someone ought to correct the dean.
