Yesterday was the finals of Poolfest 2005. Went down to referee the quarter and semi finals matches and was surprised that none of the previous year winners made it that far. Well I guess there is a season for such things too. The winner this year was really amazing, having racked several frames in this competiton itself. But as with tradition, the finals lasted 7 frames again so it lasted way pass 11. However the match was too exciting to watch that I didn’t mind having to bear the midnight charge if I needed to cab home after. In the end there was transport back to school so I stayed over in club office since I had lectures today and no point going home so late only to leave in a few hours.

Was nice to see familar faces at Poolfest and also to see how the standard of pool at NUS gets better every year. Mada mada demo still thrilling to watch. Looking forward to next year’s Poolfest already. Junxiang, look for a good successor ok.
