Coffee Grounds
Had lunch at Coffee Grounds (the new cafe outside the medical library) with Jelly and Charis. Veggie Lasagna was supposed to be good according to Jelly but I thought I’d try the Chicken Lasagna instead. Was quite ok, not very exceptional. Will try out the veggie one next time.
Decided on switching allegence to Coffee Grounds for my necessary caffine shots so tried their House Brew. Turned out that their house brew was actually an Americano! Oh man felt so cheated. It’s like paying so much more just for hot water. So Charis bought an Expresso shot instead. Not very flavourful (and also cos she doused it with sugar! eew) and whoever heard of the House Blend being an Expresso Blend? Ok so maybe this isn’t HC enuff. Still need more sampling between the two and reshuffling of budget before making a decision.
