Went to Bugis with Em this evening after reherasal in church. Unexpectedly played Daytona with two sec sch kids, cos we just happened to end our first race at the same time. Showed them how to do the TV turn on Seaside Street Galaxy (Expert Level) and had another 2 rounds of friendly racing with them. They turned out to be rather nice chaps and was fun racing with them. Went with Em for dinner then shopping till the shops closed. That’s when we decided to go for a final round of Time Crisis 3.

So we declared that we will try not to lose any life before stage 3 and Em lost 2 in the first stage! So that’s when she decided not to contiune when we died and to start again. Now the second time we both made it through stage 1 without getting hit. Stage 2 is now quite routine. Played a little more humz in Stage 3, machine gunning all the way in the final area, until we finally defeated the boss with a simple shotgun finish. Em looked rather nonchantly until I informed her that we had only spent one credit each. Pity I didn’t capture the look on her face then. Well finally, completed Time Crisis 3 Link Play with one credit. Ranked 6th though but that’s enough for now.

It was a great suprise as we it wasn’t our intention to complete the game with one credit when we started. We just wanted to make it through into stage 3 with 5 lives, but we actually completed the game in the end. A rather good start to the new year. Just feel that maybe this year, we’ll be seeing more successes and goals achieved even though we might not expect them at that moment. Emjie, time to play for points liao… hee
