Went to watch Mammia Mia last night. Reached Esplanade really early so we idled in the library until we were almost late. Well I did remind them that 8pm on the tickets means the doors close at 8, not start seating at 8. Anyway we just had to run up the stairs and got seated a min before it started. w00t. Show was great. How can anything Abba not be great?

Witnessed this incident two night ago during the train ride home. A man sitting at the corner got up when the doors open and hurried out not knowing that he dropped what looked like a box on the floor. Moments later the guy seating opposite suddenly stood up, grabbed the box and rushed out just before the doors closed. Presumably he returned the box to the owner cos the next thing we saw was him standing on the platform as the train pulled out. What struck me most was not his act of kindness but the audible “wah.. so nice” heard from the passengers. So it seems that most ppl do appreciate acts of kindness but are not willing to perform it themselves.. what can I say? would I have done it if I was sitting near enough?
